Bridal Shop Surprise
Old Point National Bank in Virginia staged a “big day” of its own for brides to be when a local bridal shop closed its doors. Bank employees went above and beyond to connect brides with their dresses, often volunteering their own time to assist in the reunions. On the “big day,” the bank held a flash sale for the remaining dresses and surprised customers by giving them the dresses for free. This perfect union of marketing and giving back to the community helped the bank secure a place in the hearts of customers—and brides—throughout Southeastern Virginia.

I’m a commercial real estate agent and just visited [Franklin’s] Merrimack branch for the first time. While I’ve worked with one of your commercial loan officers for a few years now--and she is nothing but spectacular to work with--I am pleased to say that I’m incredibly impressed with not only the new building location and design, but your team as well.

I can’t say enough how much I love Glenview State Bank--from real people answering the phone to the excellent customer service I receive. I needed to refinance a loan, and it was a stressful time for me, and GSB went above and beyond with reminders and superb service. Many other banks and establishments could learn a lot from you. Please keep it up!

Thirty years ago Chesapeake Bank welcomed me as if I were family. Today, after an absence of more than 20 years, I can Skype the bank and conduct business from another country as if I were there. Being hard of hearing and an IT imbecile, the bank is my savior. The bank staff are super efficient, kind and patient, and they make banking a pleasure.
